Behind the Scenes: Studio Time This past Thursday, I was moved - I was high - I was inspired. It all happened at Callistus’ latest studio session. It obviously wasn’t my first time hearing him record. But it was my first time at this particular studio and it all felt fresh. For the majority of the session, it was just me, Callistus, and the engineer. It was private. It was chill. It was focused. At a certain point, I was possessed by Kanye’s twitter spirit which resulted in me going H.A.M. on the aforementioned platform. It was quite trippy. When I think about it, I just want to quote Jay Z, “I wish I could give you this feeling.” But the best I can do for now is to share with you some of what I tweeted: “Callistus has truly captured this moment in time. We’re out here grindin’. Living the dream, but pursuing a bigger one. This is it. This is what we live for. Creative brillance. Dopeness is what we’re striving to create.
