On June 28th, The Curators had the pleasure of joining Host Committee for the unveiling of their platform / website.  We were introduced to Host Committee through a fellow Harvard Alum and VC, Vanessa Liu, who invited us to the Trigger Media office a couple months back to pitch Curators of Dopeness and learn about some of Trigger’s portfolio companies.  Our initial meeting with Zeeshan Zaidi, CEO of Host Committee, and Dustin Newman formed the basis of what has become as much a friendship as a business relationship.  We love their concept and share a desire to create atmospheres for individuals looking to interact with one another in a meaningful way.  We are looking forward to collaborating with them in the near future and beyond.
The Host Committee platform takes the hassle out of planning and executing a party.  As they state on their website, “Throw a great party with your friends, we’ll handle the details.”  Everything from venue to the nuanced touches that will make an experience unforgettable, they have the bandwidth and expertise to help your idea of a good time come to life.  All you need to do is invite your friends - that’s it.
The crowd consisted of entrepreneurs, non-profit executives, fashionistas and tastemakers.  The music was a mixture of genres, perfectly tailored for the occasion.  The food and liquor, sponsored by !Savory and White Pike Whiskey, was exceptional.  In short, the event was a huge success.
Before you plan your next outing with friends, consider using Host Committee.  We sure will.
